YDO Implements a Course on "Dialogue", Funded By CFLI
Youth Developmental Organization (YDO) starts implementing a training course on "Dialogue" as a part of a training program of the project of "Youths… Leadership and Dialogue", which is funded by the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) with the partnership of Decision Center for Development & Consulting (DCDC), Youth Association for Training & Development- Ibb, Alzahra Social Vocational Association For Women Development- Mocha and Democratic Youth Forum Society. The course targets 30 male and female youths from Taiz, Ibb and Mocha to empower them to play a leading effective role in the community to enable them to better lead the community through dialogue to achieve better changes for the issues and problems adopted by them in their daily activities.
Mr. Maged Al-kholidy, the chairman of YDO, has pointed out that this course is a part of a training program that will be implemented for 14 days to build the capacities of the participants to play effective roles in the community. Mr. Al-Kholidy added that the project has been designed in a way that meets with the youths' needs and achieve the objectives of both the donor (CFLI) and the implementing organization (YDO).
Mr. Samir Mohammed Noman Almaktari, the manager of the project and the projects manager in YDO, stated that this project will include a number of activities that build the capacities of the target youth in Taiz, Ibb and Mocha. He added that the participants will get intensive and specialized training by a number of professional trainers in the above-mentioned fields to empower them to play effective roles in their community. In addition, there will be practical training by engaging a number of the participants in organizing and implementing activities, targeting other male and female youths to raise their awareness build their capacities and motivate them to play similar effective roles in the community.
