 IBB. The British Council in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, financed by the basic Educational Development Program(BEDP), conducted "Trainer Development Course" Program , stage 3 for Teachers of English in five governorates: Ibb, Houdiedah, Aden, Hadhramout, and Taiz. The teachers of English would receive 24 T.K.T essentials workshops, Module 1 and most of Module 2 for two weeks.

In this regard , the" Trainer Development Course(T.D.C) program lasted for twelve days was inaugurated on 8 November and concluded on 20 November. What's more, it dealt with "lexis, Grammar, Phonology, Functions, Reading, Writing, listening, Speaking, Motivation, focus on form, L1 and L2, Learner characteristics, Learner needs, Presentation techniques, Practice activities, Assessment types, Aims, Lesson plan components, Individual lessons, Assessment activities, Consulting reference resources, Course book materials, Supplementary Materials and teaching aids". In other words, those workshops actually shed light on the importance of the communicative approach used collaboratively among the students in the classrooms since it involved all of them in pairs, groups and group discussions as well as the whole class ensuring better engagement and  more communicative practice effectively.

The trainers in particular and the trainees in general in the fifth governorates were followed by such constructive feedbacks by five supervisors sent by the British Council to evaluate and  supervise their performance in particular and the trainees in generals. In other words, those supervisors praised and appreciated the positive points,  delivered by both the trainers and the trainees highlighting ,to the contrary ,the  aspects which needed to be developed and promoted in order to achieve the objectives clearly and successfully.

Prior to ending up the program, the program ended up by handing over certificates for both the trainers and the trainees of English.

From one hand ,great efforts were exerted for the program to be delivered successfully and effectively by the Minister of Education, Dr. Abdulrazaq Alashwal, the Deputy Minister of Training and Qualifying Sector, Mr. Abdullah lamlas, the Training and Qualifying Department chairman, Dr. Mohammed Alnajashi, the Deputy Minister of Curriculum, examinations, and Inspecting Mr. Ali Alhaimi. On the other hand, some individuals involved in the participation for achieving this program profitably including Mr. Fetwi yusief, the British Council Manager In Kuwait, the  General Manager of The British Council in Sana'a Mr. Nawaf Shamsan, Project Manager, English Project Manager Raja Bazara, The coordinator of the MOE and the B.C Mr. Najeeb Almaqrami and Project assistant Huda Saleem, Mr. Abduljabbar Alshu'bi, Aref Alselwi, the supervisors: Acram Mothana Haider, Abdulrahman Khuzam, Manal Arki, Hassan Bajawi, Abdulsalam Abdulkawi and Tariq basaif.

In fact, many got impressioned concerning the training English program; Lutf Abu Mahyoob, Reef Ibb district said," really, I get much benefits from this sessions as they enriched my information and knowledge in relation to teaching English language within classroom effectively". Abdullah Murshed viewed that " though, the circumstances in Alsadah's distict are too difficult to sustain staying there, we received so cooperation and efforts exerted by the trainees to make this workshops a success, indeed, I am really satisfied wishing to have delivered many sessions in the upcoming future owing to the experience I have certainly obtained while training". Najeeb Albana, AlDhahar's district revealed his happiness saying" those intensive workshops are so relevant that we could actually apply them in the classrooms trying to escape off that traditional ways which we used to deal with like traditional approach-teacher-centered approach-, but now the situation is changed, I am going to reflect the new methods delivered recently by our trainers to be taught efficiently in the field of teaching". Fisal AlGumaee expressed his enjoyment while receiving such fruitful workshops;" they are awesome and terrific ones since they shed light on whatever we face while teaching. I have many difficulties when I want to prepare some lessons but when I have attended those intensive sessions, I am able to overcome them by applying whatever has been trained on in the field of teaching, and I hope to get more workshops in the future, thank you British council".

It is worth-mentioning that the upcoming workshops of the same program delivered a few days ago will be cascaded in another five governorates like lahaj, Dhamar, AlMahweet, Hajjah and AlAmanah, and also some centers remained in Taiz. What's more, the last arrangments regarding distributing the trainers and the trainees throughout the targeting governorates still go on.
